Backup wife?

Call me unpatriotic (I am, of course, a dirty liberal you know), but I may be in love with a truly great French import. As opposed to last week's HIGHLY SEXUAL W.C.O.G.W.S.M.M.P.G.C.T.W., P.J. Harvey, this week's W.C.O.G.W.S.M.M.P.G.C.T.W. was picked for completely different reasons.
I am proud to present this week's W.C.O.G.W.S.M.M.P.G.C.T.W., the great Julie Delpy. While Julie is without question both highly sexual and Euro-trendy, she is also unquestionably sophisticated, intelligent, and tasteful. She is a successful actress who starred in two of my favorite movies of all time, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Much of her screen career can be found in French cinema, but her rare American movie appearances always bring me delight. In my pants.
In all seriousness, Julie Delpy was selected because while she is sexy (even when she looks unhappy and serious she's still so dreamy) and French and blonde and sigh...She is also the kind of woman a guy like me could sit and talk about the world with at a coffee shop for hours on end. We would discuss politics, the environment, great music, and generally how charming I am. Of all the girls that exist in my little brain candy kingdom, she is the one I'd most be intrigued to spend an evening with. And let's face it, I could listen to that voice, that accent, and look into those eyes for days on end (Can I use "on end" anymore?). Maybe I'm just projecting myself into Ethan Hawke's role in Sunrise and Sunset, but that is truly my belief. So for being hot as well as a woman of substance, I salute French actress and Anthony pants catalyst Julie Delpy for being this week's Wednesday's Child.
A Few Thoughts For All My Readers
1. RRN, there will never be men on my Wednesday's Child segment. Get your own blog.
2. There is someone out there, and they know who they are, who sent me some random e-mail about how great Jason Mraz is. All I can say is that you have nothing to fear. Good music is on the way. There is hope for you!
3. One of you who reads this is facing surgery very soon. I swear I will be there in any way that you need me. I wish you the best and I love you and your boobs very, very much.
4. JV, I miss your random contributions to the cyber world. Post something. Inspire me.
5. Tomorrow, I will have a full post regarding my aforementioned speech I was so nervous about. Thanks to all of you for your support. Hispanic, Manic, or not, I am truly loved real hard by all good people.
6. So my job may be sending me to New York for some business soon. I plan to wear a Jets t-shirt and a Red Sox cap just to make everyone up there crazy.
7. My 25 yr.-old going on 16 roommate has finally left. I do love him but... Can I fit a reference to dreams coming true and the witch being dead into one metaphor?
8. Big Dan, let's go shoot pool and drink beer soon. I feel alive again.
9. My grad class kicks my ass. And I love it. I take something with me each time I leave class. But I leave even more behind. That's a good thing, I swear. Trust me, Kierkegaard would be proud.
10. Wal-Mart must be what hell is like if hell is intended to torture claustrophobics who fear white trash.

Well I salute your Wednesday's Child this week... she's way hot...one of those girls who makes me say, to quote my friend Emily, "I'd be a lesbian if I didn't like dick so much." Sigh...so eloquent. And I'm sure you, being the way you are, will take that fantasy and run with it...
Anyway, I have a personal issue to take up with you in a more personal format. Remind me.
